My Story
I am a Colorado Native who has a passion for counseling and helping others. My bachelors in Social Work was obtained in 1989 from Colorado State University (formerly University of Southern Colorado). I received my masters in Social Work in 2017 from North Carolina Central University. With 25 years of experience working in the social work field and 24 years working in addiction counseling I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatry, ACTT services and outpatient services (psychiatric and addiction counseling). I have worked with clients across the lifespan (12 years old and older) providing individual, family and group therapy. My goal is to empower clients to meet their full potential, incorporate self-care and to promote change and growth.
